Organize A Drive
You can Volunteer to organize a book drive for MMF. You can help by collecting books from your social circles, business clubs and family to help with educating Children in the rural areas of Kenya. This can be done as regularly as you want and collect as many books as possible.
Give Your Time, Skills & Ideas
From time to time we need help with transporting books and other materials, IT related tasks, social media marketing, PR, Story telling and reading to children. You can volunteer to help with either of these. You can even volunteer to help from where you are. Your ideas are welcome are well .
Give Construction Materials
MMF is building physical libraries for the rural communities of Kenya and this requires construction materials. Youre welcome to donate these in whatever quantities.
Our Goal
Maktaba Mashinani Foundation’s main goal is to improve basic literacy skills of rural children and the youth in all Counties in Kenya. This is by providing learning and recreational materials and facilities through building, equipping and managing of modern rural libraries enabled by close participation and partnership with rural schools and rural communities of Kenya. MMF’s goal is inspired by and supports United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
